My name is Alejandro Carmona, I'm from Mexico and you can call me Alex, i'm 24, i was born and grew up here, i'm very relaxed and easy-going, i'm a Geologist and i have some plans to study and continuing my preparation but now i want to do something different and one of my favorite things is to hear the stories of the people, everyone has something awesome to share, i like to learn new languages, new cultures and new friends, i lived for a few months in San Francisco and i met people from all over the world and that inspired me to travel up, i never had the opportunity to really enjoy the world for studies and work but i decided to start this journey and meet you !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided now its the ideal time to meet new people and places, there its and awesome world out there, and i see on couchsurfing the opportunity to travel and of course to receive here if someone wants to ! i want to learn about everything and have something cool to share to my grandsons one day :P

Interests

adventure stuff like mountain climbing, hiking are my favorite hobbies, i enjoy going to the gym, swiming and vvt.

i'm interested in the climate change, i'll do my post-graduate next year in renewable energy and contribuate to protect our beautiful planet !

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kind of music, certainly my favorite type of music is EDM but i enjoy to learn about other kinds of music.

I like very much planet of the apes and medieval movies, i dont like scary movies ;(

and my favorite books are; a life with purpose, multiverse, well i read all the harry potter's books jaja and of course geoscience :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Social work and volunteer.

Do social work its one of the best things i've done, do something without expecting somthing in return it's good for heart and soul, i worked in comunities where water transportation was a problem, and i'm proud that i contribuated as a geologist and as a volunteer only to see happy people. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I work in weekends teaching english and basic-intermediate french so i if you want i can do that and also spanish for sure, the good one, the mexican :P
i would like to learn as much as i can from the hostes, food above all :) haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my values and customs of my homecontry, i'm proud of Mexico, of course for the history and people, i know how to cook really good mexican food, i can help with everything idk, painting or handy stuff and of course a good conversation and histories to share. :)
