Hello, My name is Alejandro Gaspar. I'm Venezuelan, but currently living in Colombia. I'm a wood artist, fine carpenter and hand crafter. I'm also a chef XD. Due to the massive crisis happening in my country , I had to leave and find a new life, after a few countries I'm still looking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe is a great way to meet new and interesting people and places. I love travelling, but I feel that, staying in hotels doesn't really allow you to connect with the place to which you are going, and meeting with locals is the best posible way to know everything, because there is no one better to tell you where to really go, than the locals!

Interests

Music, art and animals as the very first. Mostly rock and metal, but I also enjoy some other music genres. And about art, I consider myself an artisan and artist. I love reading and watching movies, and learn new things everyday

Music, Movies, and Books

Way to many bands to name them all, but I can say I love metal and rock music, but I'm not limited to them. Movies I like can go from romantic comedies to epic movies. Basically if a movie calls my attention, I'll watch it, regardless the genre. And about books, almost every kind of book could be a good book! (Except paulo coelho, sorry if you are a fan), but if I'm forced to choose, I'll go for epic like LOTR, or mystery such as Edgar Allan Poe (massive fan), and sci-fi like Asimov... Just some examples.
