I am a 22 year old student from Los Cabos but right now I am living in Guadalajara. I study Indutrial Engineering and will graduate in the next year.

I grew up in a small touristic town near the beach and that tought me to love the ocean and the outdoors in general. My favorite sport to do is swimming and flag football but I love watching football AND american football. I also love riding the bike, I think that it is a very fun and efficient way to move around. I also do a little bit of other things like snorkeling, kayaking, yoga, hiking, etc.

Another thing I like to do is reading. Few things are better than getting immersed in the world of a good book. I also like to play chess, I can play quite well but I think I will never stop learning/improving.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really like traveling because you get to know people from all over the world, you get to know how lifestyles vary in different places and of course you get to see the physical place itself as well.

I like couchsurfing because it is more economic than spenfing the night in a hotel but most importantly because of what I wrote before. You get to know new people, customs and cultures which is what makes traveling so enjoyable.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music- I like a lot of different music. My fav. music varies a lot through time. Once I was really into Metal, then really into Reggae and now I also like Classical, Latin and Indie music. I have decided I dont have a fav. artist or genre, I will just listen to whatever I want to at that specific time. Right now I am really into Mac Demarco, Tame Impala and Devonte Hynes.

Movies- I like films that make you think. Films that everytime you watch them, you dicover something new. I absolutley dislike the "pop" movies like the Avengers.
Some of my fav films are Tarantino's films. I really like how he goes deep into some delicate issues but can also make it so funny. My fav Tarantino movies are 1) Pulp Fiction, 2) Kill Bill, 3) Ingl. Basterds. Sean Penn is also an actor and director that I like a lot and lately I have been watching movies from Stanley Kubrick.

Books- I grew up reading Harry Potter so I have to mention it. Right now I am reading the books of the series A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) and it is craaaaaaazy how good these books are. The writter is just amazing. I love the way he makes the reader feel what the character in the book is feeling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think the highlights of my life are the following:

-Growing up in a town near the ocean. I learned a lot from it, it defines a lot of my personality and dont think I want to live permanently far from it.

-Working during two summers in a Summer Camp for kids in an island in California. My job was to go snorkeling and kayaking everyday with kids. What is better than that?

-I volunteered 1 year to teach english to people with low resources in Mexico. I can speak the language quite well so it is one thing I can offer to the people in my country. Speaking English would help them to get better job opportunities or universities or just simply a better education. I can honestly say they learned a lot from me and I learned a lot from them.

- I lived 2 years in Germany. This experience taught me invaluable things. Not only the language and the culture there but also to be flexible, open, adaptable and grateful.

As a native Spanish speaker I can teach or practice with my host Spanish.

I can cook quite well. I mean, I am no professional chef but I am resourceful and most importantly, creative so I could cook something good with few ingredients.

Since I study Industrial Engineering I can teach some techniques to improve efficiency and reduce wasted time.

I can show some really funny videos to my host :P
