I am a health research scientist with a background in public health and epidemiology. And I also love history; it was my undergrad degree. I was born and raised in New York City, and I am also of Colombian heritage. I am a native Spanish and English speaker, and my Italian is at a basic level (lo capisco megliore que lo parlo).

I consider myself a pretty decent amateur tour guide, so if I have time and you want, I could show you around the city. I can also give you many sightseeing suggestions, from the common ones to the stuff that the locals like to do. I usually also have good craft/artisan beers in my refrigerator which I am happy to share. And I can offer you freshly ground coffee :)
