About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience and feel the most we are able to from this life experience. Then, share it all generously.

ABOUT US

What started as a friendly travellers info request on Facebook in 2007, turned into a quirky courtship nearly 2 years later and a true fairy tale life , filled with all the good (and uncomfortable) one could desire. Together, with our two children, we continue to write this authentic story where nature, love, and wonder are our guides.

We believe we are here to live an extraordinary life that is authentic and whole. We fell in the career trap for a bit, but are back to living the good life. Our dreams have continuously move us and our children around the world discovering the magic of different cultures and lifestyles. Through this living account, we hope to inspire other people to take the leap of faith and bask in the possibility of what life can bring each of us if open to it.

We are grounded, calm, intellectual, and curious personalities. Our family includes Alejandro (myself), Nikol (wife), Deia (18), and Teo (10).

PHILOSOPHY

Feel the life we are living. Time is not known, but how we feel right now is. Live through love. Trust the chances. Laugh often. Play. Travel. LOVE BIG.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past 10 years, we have hosted a handful of travellers. We love the idea of sharing space and time with others. We look forward to adventuring back into the world of travel community after losing ourselves in the corporate life and neglecting the importance of connecting with people. We are happy to be back.

Currently, we are interested in meeting locals and expats who we are willing to share and discover the wonders of moments in time with.

Interests

Travel, food - eating + cooking, new cultures, sun-lovers, mountain-lovers, nature, music, cultural experience, seizing the moment, dancing. eco-psychology, entrepreneurship, permaculture, writing, reading, herbalism, medicinal plants, foraging...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the past three years ,we have been living in a national park at the base of the Caucasus Mountains. We have witnessed and been guided by the nature that surrounds us. Perhaps, above all the amazing things we have each "done" throughout our lives... developing a relationship with nature has been the most extraordinary experience of them all. This, we love to share and talk about. Furthermore, feel it is a much needed "thing" for us to all "do" in our lives and for the wellness of the world we are experiencing right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Love, trust, surrender, cooking, herbalism, medicinal plants, eco-psychology, entrepreneurship (hotel / restaurant / customer service), import/export/logistics, functional fitness...

Learn: Whatever you are willing to share.

Share: Authenticity.
