I'm a cool guy, student of civil engineering at Politecnico di Torino.

I was grown in a very traditional region in Colombia called "Eje Cafetero" or like "Coffee Region" in english, that's why my customs are so deeply entrenched to the country, so I like coffee, music, dancing and cooking.

I currently live in Italy because I had the oportunity to participate in a special agreement tha my university had with another university here in Italy. Since then, I haven't stopped travelling around Europe and other places likes the North of Africa and the Mediterranean.

I enjoy very much meeting people coming from different places and having different cultures because that helps me to understan that there isn't just one way of living or understanding life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because, since I came to Europe, I haven't stopped travelling around different parts of the world. While I was travelling I unerstood that going to another city and staying in big hotels doesn't allow you to effectively know this place, insted you spend your time at the hotel. But if you have the opportunity tom visit someone who lives there, this will not only let you learn about the city but also meet new people that can show you this place or simply make new friends from any part of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music:
I am an authentic latin guy, so I enjoy very much music from my region, specially those rythms with dances like salsa, merengue and bachata. But in general I like music from all Latin America.
However I am very open the listen to different kinds or genres of music from all over the world like rock or pop. In particular, I enjoy music from the North of Africa and from India.

- Movies:
I am not a person who knows very much about movies and those things. When it comes to movies, I try to find some of them having historical arguments, that means that whenever I want to find a movie,I like it to have a story linked to an special historical event, either explaning it or simply a story in that certain age. However I also enjoy cartoon movies and other famous movies.

- Books:
I enjoy very much literature from my region or literature that try to explain certain historical facts that ocurred in the places I've lived. But, in the other hand, I've also read books from other parts of the world that allowed me to understand the way of living in those parts.

I general I think the things I can shre with other people are:
Learning new languages, cooking of in general abilities in the kitchen, sports.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To the Hosts I can offer:
Culture exchanging, as I am a Latinamerican I can teach dancing or simply music from my regions, even playing instruments from my region.
I can also cook different special things not also from Colombia but from Italy and Arabic food.
As I am a person that speaks different languages I am able to teach any of them.
I can also share my knowledge in other fields like math, physics or history from my region.
