My name is Alek and I'm 22 years old. I'm originally from Poland, but I moved to the UK after high school. I have graduated from University of Cambridge in June 2018 where I was reading Law. Before I start my job in London, in July 2019, I would like to go travelling around and explore South America. It has always been my dream to see what the world outside of Europe looks like and I feel now is the perfect opportunity. I am starting in Bogota, Colombia on the 22nd of January.

I'm sociable, easy going and love to meet new people. I haven't yet come across a person I would not get along with. I'm keen on sports (basketball, football, swimming, running, gymming), books (Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Steinback, Kafka, Eco, Camus, Kapuscinki, Allende), music (anything from classical to rock to electronic). I'm also interested in economics, international law, global affairs, philosophy and debating. I speak Polish, English and some Spanish. One of the reasons why I want to visit South America is the fact that I used to speak Spanish fluently at junior high school. Since then I stopped speaking it and I really think it's a terrible shame. Hopefully, once I'm there, I will be able to bring it back.
