I discovered travel a bit over a decade ago, and it changed everything about the way I look at life. I enjoy seeing new places and learning new ways of doing things, but most of all I enjoy meeting people with different experiences and trying to see things from their points of view. Nature and monuments may be fascinating, but nothing is more amazing than people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe countries are people. Though I have couchsurfed some years ago, at this point in life I am not looking for hosts on my travels. I would, however, like to meet with locals or fellow travellers to learn, exchange experiences or just have fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A long time ago I travelled to Thailand with less than four days preparation, no contacts in country, no travel experience, almost no information about the country. This was my first solo travel outside of my country. It was there and then I fell in love with the world, and nothing was ever the same again.
