My name is Aleksandar, but I'm more used to being called Aleks :)

I have seen a whole bunch of countries already, but I want to meet new interesting people all over the world and experience different cultures, as long as possible. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing as I hope, that it offers me the amazing opportunity to meet locals of the country I'm visiting and in the best case make new friends, that can give me a true insight of their culture and way of living. :D

Interests

My passion lies in the field of artificial intelligence, which is why I am currently studying data science at the technical university of Vienna ^^

Besides my study I love all kinds of summer sports, like swimming or bicycling, which is why I spent my summer days as much as possible at the old Danube or the Danube island, which are perfect spots to have a nice summer evening with friends :D

Throughout the year I love hiking and climbing as you nearly always get an impressive outlook :)

Also I am singing in a Jazz choir, love to draw and to be open for new experiences (like pole dancing, Lama hiking or climbing a volcano 😄)

I love actually all kinds of music, ranging from blues, jazz or hits from Cher or Queen to radio music, Caribbean reggaetón, Bollywood hits, kpop or even Israelian pop and Russian funk rock (:

I'm open to almost every other genre though (except for metal ^^)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited Korea during an exciting three week long adventure, hoping from one amazing couch surfing host to the next throughout the entire country.

It was the most amazing experience I've made so far, as I met so many wonderful and helpful people on the first trip, that I planned completely on my own. :D

I strongly believe, that I did not only meet the Korean culture, but really dove into it. ^^

Now I want to share my stories and experience new cultures to extend my horizon and hopefully also the horizon of my hosts and guests. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my insider knowledge about Vienna, as well as cool locations for partying and an enormous knowledge about the (probably) best places to get really delicious food in Vienna.

Furthermore I can offer a cosy home, that should make you feel welcome (a big couch for sleeping in the living room, a bathroom and a kitchen). :)
