Overview
About Me
I am a student of the third year at the ITMO University, I study Software Engineering and also work at JetBrains in RubyMine team. I play guitar and sing, but just for myself (I don't like torturing people). I've been studying English for ~10 years and speak fluently except some domestic things (I haven't had enough immersion in it).
I learn German for like 1 year and can produce some simple sentences and it's the main language I spent time on learning (I also take an interest in Japanese and Arabic).
I like reading wikipedia about some cultures and languages. (Did you know that Moksha language which is a part of Finno-Ugric group contains more than 20 cases?)
I don't have any bad habits except I don't mind trying some different beers. (Gose is my favourite one)
Currently I live in a dormitory, so I'm not authorized to host someone yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to communicate with native speakers of English and German and discover more about living in different countries. I also have some difficulties with finding a party for trips sometimes, so being alone is a little unsettling.
