About Me

Hi there!

My name is Aleksandr. In 2008-2009 I lived in the US as an exchange student and it was the time when I realized that the best thing I can do is to keep exploring the world and people around. Ever since I keep on traveling, meeting new people, trying all kinds of activities wherever I go.

I run a couple companies with my partners in Saint-Petersburg. I love sports. Used to do Taekwondo for a few years, love crossfit. In summer of 2016 I applied for 70.3 Ironman which will take place in May 2017, so now I do swimming, cycling and running. I snowboard in winter and surf in summer. I enjoy reading. Me and a few friends of mine meet once a week to discuss what we've read.
Whenever I have a chance to leave the city for some time I use that opportunity to go to a new place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and it's especially fun to explore a city with locals. Meeting new people is the best part of almost any place because that's what makes every trip remarkable.
