About Me
Hi, I’m Aleksandra 😊
I’m an open-minded and curious person who loves meeting people from different cultures and sharing meaningful conversations. Traveling for me isn’t just about seeing places — it’s about understanding how people live, design, and shape their environments.
I have been studing Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, where I developed a strong interest in the intersection of design and technology. I’m especially fascinated by how modern tools transform the way we think about space — from parametric design and digital fabrication to sustainable technologies and smart cities. I enjoy exploring how innovation can make architecture more human-centered, ecological, and responsive to the future.
Alongside that, I have been studing Communication Studies at SWPS University, which deepened my understanding of how people connect, share ideas, and experience spaces emotionally. For me, architecture isn’t just about buildings — it’s about storytelling, psychology, and the way technology shapes human interaction.
When I travel, I love discovering contemporary architecture, innovative public spaces, and hidden design details in everyday places. I’m equally happy discussing sustainable materials, urban planning, AI in design, or simply enjoying a walk through a beautifully designed neighbourhood.
As a guest, I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing. I truly appreciate the generosity of hosts and enjoy contributing — whether that’s cooking together, exchanging ideas about culture and design, or having deep late-night conversations.
I believe the best connections are built the same way as good architecture — with openness, balance, and strong foundations.
Looking forward to meeting inspiring people from around the world 🌍✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is about real connection. I’m not here just to find a place to stay — I’m here to meet people, exchange perspectives, and experience places through the eyes of locals.
As someone who studied architecture and communication, I’m deeply curious about how people live, how cities shape daily life, and how culture influences the spaces we create. Staying with locals gives me insight that no guidebook ever could.
I believe the best travel memories come from shared dinners, spontaneous walks, deep late-night conversations, and small everyday moments. Couchsurfing creates space for those genuine interactions.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m drawn to films that are visually strong and thoughtfully designed — cinema where architecture, space, and storytelling connect. I enjoy psychological dramas, independent cinema, and movies that leave you thinking long after they end. I also appreciate beautifully shot European films and documentaries about cities, design, and social change.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was stepping outside my comfort zone and moving through different cities alone, experiencing them not as a tourist but as an observer of spaces and people. Exploring architecture, urban life, and culture independently taught me confidence, adaptability, and trust in the unknown.
Designing my own architectural concepts from idea to final project was also incredibly empowering — turning a blank page into a fully imagined space that could shape how people live and interact. Seeing how creativity and technology come together to form something meaningful felt truly amazing.
For me, the most amazing experiences aren’t always extreme — they’re the moments when you realize you’ve grown, created something from nothing, or connected deeply with someone from a completely different world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge about architecture, design thinking, and how technology influences the spaces around us. I’m happy to talk about sustainable design, creative processes, or how to see cities from a more analytical and artistic perspective. I can also share insights about communication, body language, and how we connect across cultures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all — respect, gratitude, and positive energy. I truly value the openness of people who welcome travelers into their homes, and I always try to be a thoughtful and easygoing guest.
I can share inspiring conversations about architecture, cities, technology, and how design shapes the way we live. I love exchanging perspectives about culture, communication, and everyday life in different countries.
I’m happy to share music and book recommendations, or explore the city together if you’d like company. I can also offer a fresh architectural eye — sometimes it’s fun to look at your own city through someone else’s perspective.
