ABOUT ME

I'm a regular girl leading a regular life. Right now I want to take what the world has to offer, travel for a while, go out and live a little.

I love living in the city, going to the theatre, to the movies, going to the cafe with a book. Sometimes when I can't sleep I go out for a walk, and when the streets are empty I feel like I'm the only person alive in this world. I adore the smell of earth after the rain. I could live off sweets and ice-creams. I'm allergic to fruits (not all of them, fortunately) and I truly hate people who walk so slow before me and I can't move past them.

What more can I say? I might not look like a crazy and romantic girl, but I secretly am. Too ambitious for my own good, and very competitive. I also probably have too many flaws, but I compensate with my humor, passion for adventure and sharp mind.

One day I hope to become a writer. Or at least work for the BBC. And own a cat named Sherringford.

I participate by meeting new people, talking to them and infecting them with my crazy stories and passion for sweets.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About four years ago I've stayed for a week at a british family in London. Funily enough, it turned out that the landlord was born in France and during my stay we spoke more in French than in English. And even though there were mice in the kitchen and I caught a chill on the second day, I have to say that it was a unique week and I would love to do it again.

Interests

I love travelling and meeting new people on the run. I watch a lot of movies and tv shows - that probably explains why I'm like a living Wikipedia of sorts. Literature is my weak spot, I enjoy sports (horse riding, tennis and running in particular). In my free time I collect sugars from my every travel (I always nick them from restaurants but don't tell anyone). I love going to the cinema and to the theatre. I also write fiction in my free time. Shopping and evening walks are my guilty pleasure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where do I start? I can talk about movies for hours. No, scratch that. I can talk about movies for days. Starting from Hitchcock, Pride and Prejudice (everything Austen really), through Ocean's and Lord of the Rings trilogies, to James Bond and Inception.
If we're talking tv, I'm currently obsessed with Suits, Sherlock BBC, Doctor Who, Bands of Brothers and Game of Thrones. I also enjoy british miniseries and period drama.

My parents didn't feed me properly when I was a child, they just gave me books. And that is how I became the person I am today. I have my favourite authors, like Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Jack Kerouac, Agatha Christie and many, many others, but if you really want to impress me, you want to know who Francis Scott Fitzgerald is.

Music? I do not function properly without music. Plus, it makes long travels so much bearable. I generally listen to everything, in particular to Coldplay, Muse, Kings of Leon, Adele, Florence + The Machine, The White Stripes, BRMC, Maroon 5. And various soundtracks from movies and tv shows.
