About Me
***I am originally from Russia, Kazan, and have been living in Israel for 3 years now. Currently in Haifa, Israel.***
Briefly about myself:
Always trying to make the best out of any situation and stay positive, love improving the world around me and helping people.
I work as an English tutor, I teach English to both kids and adults and I really enjoy doing it.
I am also a part of a great youth project in Haifa that takes place right in the apartment I live in.

Get to know me ;P
- passionate about languages
- volunteer when I have a chance
- have acted in a youth theater for 7 years back in Russia, left it because traveling and theater are not perfect companions :(
- former KGB agent. Ok, just worked as an actress playing a KGB agent in a quest room in Israel… Sadly, Miss Corona took this quest room to a better place… ;’(
- all for sustainability, zero-waste, and so on, but as one traveler once said “I’m a fan of sustainability but I also need to sustain my sanity”. So, I’m trying to pursue a middle ground here, but you definitely won’t see me burning disposable cutlery in the middle of a forest, and cities without recycling facilities stress me out
- love animals, a lot, I have a cat, who lives with my family in Kazan and I miss her insanely :’(
- nature lover (hiking is one of my favorite activities)
- not a club person
- prefer watching documentaries and youtube videos to watching regular movies and am not a fan of series
- love podcasts and audiobooks (my favorite topics are psychology and immigration)
- constantly listening to music (let’s take a moment here to thank Spotify developers for its existence!)
- have been Eminem’s fan from the age of 14 and fulfilled my dream in 2016 and traveled to Detroit and 8mile specifically while I was on the Work and Travel project
- don’t know how to swim and how to ride a bike (I know, that’s crazy) however, I can ride an electric scooter (not the most confident rider, though:D), and I believe in myself that soon I’ll conquer the water and the wheels! Yaay! :D
- walk a lot and fast (too fast for some people!)
- adore trains
- enjoy making lists :D
Alright, I hope you got the gist of who I am! ;)
While traveling, I prefer taking part in volunteer projects as sightseeing is not enough for me. If it’s a short trip and taking part in a project isn’t available, I try to learn the basics of the language of the place I’m headed to and simply check it out and meet there with the locals.
Love couchsurfers! I cherish sweet memories about my trips connected with those guys.
I’ve got plenty of interests and they keep on increasing with every year - all of them are mostly connected with the humanitarian sphere and art.
I will be happy to host you/meet you in Russia and in Israel.
And, YES, I am vaccinated three times already! (with Pfizer, if you're curious;) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling is not only about the place - it's about the people you meet on your way!
