About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hi! I am a world-traveller, looking for something more than laying in my bed. I really want to see as much cultures, places and meet amazing people, as it is possible.

Countries already visited: Lithuania (hitch-hiking trip), Czech Republic (hitch-hiking trip), Albania, Spain, Croatia, Italy, France, Germany, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Austria (hitch-hiking trip), Greece, Monaco, Ukraine.

Current missions:
-Cyprus -> February 2017
-Italy -> April 2017
-Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal (all in one, hitch-hiking trip) -> August/September 2017

ABOUT ME

Always hungry. World hungry, too. ;) realist, talkative, friendly person. Not afraid od people or crazy adventures. Love cats (especially MaineCoon's), hate spiders (so why in enormous love with Australia?!). Always try to do something new in my life, because I never want to get bored.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not look back. Never regret anything. Take your life in your hands.

My outlook on life may be found in Max Ehrmann's "Desiderata":

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I've got a couch! :D
Apart from that, I love people, adventures and long-night talks.

Interests

Despite that I'm a traveller, I love to sing. I can't stop doing this even if I'm in a supermarket.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Tom Hanks, he always plays in good productions! "Green mile" or "Forrest Gump". Classic!
Music? It depends. I listen to a song, not a kind of music.
If you're saying books, I have to say: criminals. Agata Christie, Harlan Coben, Patrick Suskind. Or maybe some Dan Brown and his fantastic? Generally, I read a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate an octopus.
Truly disgusting!

Teach, Learn, Share

LEARN
I'd like to learn, how it is to be you. How to live your life in your country. What do you usually eat, how do you spend your free time. To sum up - I'm interested in who you truly are, what is your outlook on life and why is that. Cultural, personal, religious, political and many "different differences" that's what I'm into.

TEACH&SHARE
I can teach you how to pack your whole stuff into a smallest WizzAir's luggage if it's the only luggage you take!
And some more non-serious stuff like: polish songs or words (people say it's the hardest language to learn, so quite a challenge), how to make a good videoclip, what is like to work underground as a mine-worker (that's what my bf can tell you).
If you want to find out some serious things, I can tell you something about being a teacher of young people between 7-12 years old. How it is to live in Poland. How it is to be 21 and dream about "around the world" journey. And how am I preparing to this challenge. :)
