Hey there! The name's Aleksej. I'm a researcher and grad student at the University of Texas - Austin, but currently I'm off doing research in Sofia, Bulgaria (until 30.06.2019). I was living in Bucharest, Romania for five months prior.

I am originally from Skopje, Macedonia, but I grew up in the United States. I'm passionate about traveling, cooking, reading, writing, and research. I embrace my nerdiness (is that a word?) and am pretty casual. Politics, culture, languages, food and drinks - can't get enough!
