I’m Alex, a friendly Brazilian traveler and petroleum engineer who loves discovering new places and meeting people from different cultures.

Traveling is one of the things that makes me feel most alive. I enjoy exploring cities, walking around without a strict plan, trying local food, and hearing stories from people who live there.

Friends usually describe me as open-minded, respectful, and easygoing. I enjoy good conversations, laughter, and learning how people live in different parts of the world.

I also enjoy traveling solo because it allows me to connect more with locals and truly experience each destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to experience a place beyond tourism.

In the past I hosted a couple from the Czech Republic at my home in Spain, and I also stayed with a great host in London. Both experiences were amazing and showed me how powerful cultural exchange can be.

Now I hope to continue meeting interesting people and sharing travel experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first international trip was to Spain, and it completely changed how I see the world.

Traveling alone for the first time was both exciting and challenging, but it made me realize how incredible it is to discover new cultures and meet people from different backgrounds.

Since then, traveling has become one of my biggest passions.
