I'm Alen and I come from Slovenia, a small country in the central Europe. I like meeting and talking to new people, because you can always learn something from everyone you've met. I enjoy good company but also don't mind being on my own.

I have joined Couchsurfing community, to see the world from the perspectives of local people. CS gives the opportunity to see and learn from the different cultures and embrace the lifestyles different from my own which can benefit me on many levels.

I prefer all kinds of books and movies, from poetry to philosophy and everything inbetween. If I have to point out some writers or/and directors I would chose: Q. Tarantino, D. Lynch, S. Kubrick,.. and writers such as: G. Orwell, F. Nietzsche, J.P. Sartre,...

I want to share good thougts, positive energy and well-being. I believe in a better world, with more harmony and less violence. I believe in human kindness and love, because I want to believe that people are good by nature, despite all bad things going on in the world right now. The world is the beautiful place where we can live and provide things for ourselves and others and it would be some much nicer if people would get along.

I really enjoy good conversations and I would love to find out about new and different cultures, different lifestyles and in my opinion the best thing to achieve that is to get in touch with the local people who think the same way about diffrences. That is what I can give or share with the other people (hosts): an information, my perspective of the world and some things to discuss about. Also I'm willing to share costs and help with the chores or anything necessary.
