Overview
About Me
I came to Trier to study in the late 90s from my Hamburg home. I now live in Trier and work in Luxembourg, this tiny country at the heart of Europe that impresses with multilingualism and the diversity of its people. I like the Mosel and its wine culture, although I miss the North, its landscape and climate.
I have travelled mostly within Europe, exploring some of its more remote regions such as the Outer Hebrides or the Arctic. But I have also camped under the stars in the outback in Australia and dived the Great Barrier Reef in '95, visited cities like Tokyo and Toronto, and watched wild desert elephants in Damaraland, Namibia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have found that few things are as educational and intructive as travelling, and I would like to do my bit to allow people to get around, to come together, communicate and build bridges .
