My name is Alena. What's to say about me? I'm 23 years old and I love doing all kind of sports, especially handball, skiing, hiking, mountainbiking and scuba diving. I'd say, that I'm a very social person, who loves meeting new people, having fun and good conversations with them, cook together and laughing a lot.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

To be honest, since 10 years I know about Couchsurfing , but I've never tried it before. Then in 2017 I met an awesome french guy in Guatemala and he introduced me to Couchsurfing so here I am! I tried it, because I really like the idea behind the platform. To visit the famous places of a country is great, but if you only come to a country just to do sightseeing, something is missing and the missing thing are the people in the country. In my opinion you should get to know both of it, the places and the people and Couchsurfing combines those two things perfectly.
On the other side I also want to make people happy, who visit my country, by showing them the secret places in my area and by making their stay unforgettable great.

If I had to choose:
My favorite music is probably from Seeed, Peter Fox and Wanda.
My favorite movie is a german one called "So weit die Füße tragen"
and my favorite books are from Sabine Thiesler (German Writer, probably nobody knows her, but she writes very good thrillers)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Oh, I've done so many amazing things, with so many amazing people. Nothing world- shaking, but nevertheless great! Hiking vulcanos in Central America, diving down to 40 meters in the Red Sea, eating great stuff in Italy, meeting fabulous people in Sri Lanka or totally potty: spend the day with my hilarious friends at one of the lakes near to my homevillage, having barbecue, drinking beer in the evening and sitting around a bonfire, while having weird conversations and listening to guitarmusic in the night.

Everything I can and you can't, I'm sure we will find a way, that I teach you.
Everything I have and you haven't, I'm sure we will find a way to share it.
