ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Russia, but I moved to the US 7 years ago to study here. I'm friendly, open-minded, adventurous, active, outgoing, understanding, can be silly or a bit crazy sometimes. I get excited about things easily and I'm always up for an adventure. I try to live my life to the fullest and constantly move on to something new and better!:)

兴趣

I like reading, watching movies, partying, etc. I enjoy playing the piano, though I haven't had a chance to do it lately. I do a lot of different sports like ice-skating, skiing, kayaking, horseback riding, Danish gymnastics, swimming, rollerblading, and skydiving. I love camping because it's something my family has been doing ever since I can remember myself and it's an important part of my life. Another thing that I've been doing almost my entire life (since I was 4) and that I'm the most passionate about is dancing. I've done folk, modern, classical ballet, dance theater, and what not. I even planned on being a professional dancer, but now I just do it as a hobby and can't imagine my life without it. And of course I love travelling, learning foreign languages, and meeting new people:)

It depends on my mood most of the time. I usually prefer movies and books that have a meaning and make you think, but I can also watch a totally dumb comedy or a cheesy romantic movie if I feel like it. Just no horror movies please:) With books it's more specific and usually something philosophical or psychological, but I did also read all the Harry Potter books:) Music... I don't think I can even explain my music choice to myself sometimes, totally random haha. I often like a song if I think I could create a dance to it, and it can be rock, classical music, folk, or anything else!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's an amazing feeling to start a new life in a different country by yourself. I've done it twice, and the more I do it, the more I want to:) Also, some of my extreme kayaking experiences were pretty amazing. Skydiving, especially freefly.
