I'm Alena, a friendly globetrotter coming from the Czech Republic. I've studied in France for 5 years and now, I am settling down in Heidelberg, Germany.
I like meeting new people while travelling and discovering other cultures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not have that much experience with Couchsurfing. We have hosted several times people at our place in Strasbourg.
Myself, I could enjoy the couchsufing once in Oslo.
But it always turned to a great experience!

Photography, nature, sport (hiking, tennis, horseback riding, biking, skiing...), foreign languages, meeting people... beer (yeah, I'm a Czech girl:)), wine (yeah, I used to live in France:))
.........well, now it all changed a bit ......
Now, I'm a big fan of sleeping, breast feeding, eating and of long walks in the surroundings of Heidelberg.

I love Nina Kinert, Beirut, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix.. and lots of others... it all depends whether I'm enjoying a cosy evening at home or preparing my backpack for the next trip :)
Bohumil Hrabal and his book "Too Loud a Solitude "....and the Slovak movie "The Garden", these are my ever favourites..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

*Trip to New Brunswick - a few days, lots of kilometres, lots of fun!

*Wimbledon ...for free!

*Summer bike trip across Bohemia without any tent
*Sleeping in the open air during the trip towards the South of France, especially in the pop's gardens in Avignon!

*Staying in the North of Norway... jumping into the cold fjord water, riding islandic horses, baking cakes, learning Norwegian, spending a night in the mountains, being part of the nature..
etc.

*Sweden - camping, enjoying its incredible nature, watching mooses, canoëing on its lakes with my boyfriend. Romantic! :D
The best road trip adventures ever - among girls only -with no fixed plan, just a direction!

*Olympic Games - London 2012 - truly great experience!
*Gave birth to most amazing man I know :D
