Interests

I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and camping. I like to keep fit and healthy and participate in different sporting activities (although sporadically lately). I enjoy wildlife spotting. I love to read and watch films and enjoy spending a rainy day in a museum. I'm not talented artistically but am excited by art and music. I regularly attend the theatre and dance productions. I dance in my spare time. I love learning new languages but need to focus more on ongoing practice.

I love John Steinbeck novels and am currently reading a lot of classic books.

The Galapagos islands...utterly amazing. Like nowhere else on earth.
My unexpected marriage proposal with a bottle of champagne in our hotel in Venice. Simply the best.
