Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting different people and appreciate the opportunity to see places, eat food, have drinks that I would not find on my own in the short time you usually have when traveling.

Interests

I‘m very much into sports. Rock climbing is my passion . When still in school I played a lot of tennis but I also enjoy reading books and I prefer plays to movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I love autobiographies like „Story of my life“ by Charlie Chaplin but my all time favorite is „Mr. Moonbloom“ by E.L. Wallant: appr. 420 pages and barely anything happens but it is so beautifully written that you can‘t put it away.

Movies: I enjoy movies that are based on true events like „The railway man“ or „Woman in gold“. It’s really easy to scare me so I don’t watch anything more thrilling than Harry Potter.

Music: A wild mixture from charts to house to local carnival songs to classics and classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first Couchsurfing experience was with a couple in Townsville, Australia. We had a fun time and the girl Even Visited my once back in Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning languages and took a Farsi (Persian) class at university. So I know the Arabic alphabet plus the 4 extra letters they have in Persian- if anyone is interested;)
