About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Alessandra (but my friends call me Amy), I'm 21 and I'm from beautiful Italy!
Few months ago I quit my job (I was
working as a waitress in a nice bistrot near the small town where i live) to follow my dreams and travel.
So here I am, traveling on my own around Europe. It's just the start but I'm really enjoying that!
I want to challenge and enrich myself, expecially as a human, connect to other people, other cultures and realities that could be different from my comfort zone, so I would super happy to meet new people! But I also appreciate time spent with myself (I'm not the kind of person who always needs to stay with someone)
My family and friends describe me as sensitive and thoughtful but also lively and goofy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a great way to know new cities through locals' eyes, to live the place more like a traveler than a tourist. Also I think it's a good opportunity to meet new people and have a cultural exchange.
Interests
Since I was a little child, I've been passionate about writing (short novels, poems or simply how i feel). In fact, before leaving Italy, I was attending a writing workshop with other young litterature lovers. I enjoy walking in the nature, but also in vibrant cities; I love music (I've been to a lot of concerts and festivals), theatre, pets and animals overall.
I also love connecting to other people, having a chat about any topic, sharing ideas and stories.
I'm really curious about what's inside people's minds and hearts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- When I was 2 I got away from my house on a jumping balloon and my parents needed the whole afternoon to find me
- When I was 5 I tried to steal an anaconda from the circus while the circus' owner and my parents weren't looking.
Spoiler: I didn't make it.

If you're curious about that, I would be glad to share italian culture with you. And of course I would be more than happy to get to know yours.
