Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Alessandre but everyone calls me Ali. Two years ago after graduating from college I jumped on a plan to Madrid to become and English teacher and I haven't left. Although many people don't understand why I left NY in the first place, there is nothing else I'd rather be doing than traveling and making memories with new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I never knew much about couchsurfing until a few friends of mine shared their experiences, good and bad. I've stayed at many different kinds of hostels and realized that this kind of personal, unforgettable experience is much more what I want out of traveling. Plus, I've already got awesome plans for when you come visit me!
Interests
One of my favorite things to do is picnic in the park with my friends on a beautiful Sunday - our cups filled and the 90s hip hop loud. I like to be outside whether it's hiking, skiing, tennis, and find the best view where ever I go. Eating is probably my favorite thing to do so I'm always looking for delicious new things to try, as well as a delicious new beer to go with it. I try to make the best of every situation but when I'm around it good people, it's never hard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've fed Monks in Laos, drank centipede tequila in Vietnam with the locals and well, I think moving across the world to teach English to little kids is pretty damn cool
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help with English and the Spanish I have so far, traditional cooking from the states, inappropriate jokes, cocktails/wine/beer or whatever your poison and hopefully be a breathe of fresh air from our everyday lives.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Spain, United States
