About Me

Neugierig is the word thar best defines me: you could translate it to "curious", from German. But literally it is more greed for new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just back in my hometown, after some years spent working abroad. So I am here firstly to continue to take part in an international scene that now I am missing. Secondly, I am planning a summer roadtrip with my camperized car, but in a month long trip I might use a proper shower. Or some sociality.

Interests

Basically a jack of all trades, but master of none. My plan is to increase even more the number of things I can do poorly, without getting scared to much the quality of the outcome. Eventually something will stick.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bright Eyes, MACE, 1959 Jazz (not only that year, but that was gold).

UFO 1978 by Wu Ming, Peau d'Homme by
Hubert & Zanzim, Au bonheur des ogres by Daniel Pennac.

Matrix, Perfetti sconosciuti, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran for local elections and asked friends and family not to vote for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some go to places of the underground scene I can share, can teach some belaying and show some good places where to climb in the appennini mountains, share some good recipes (nonna approved) and share some objects from the library I volunteer in. Yeah, it's a special library, where you can borrow a snowboard or a telescope, instead of just books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Italian food (both recipies on how to make it and making it together), fixing home appliances/phones/computers, some truly good storytelling on great stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Romania, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark, Germany, Italy
