Overview
About Me
Hi everybody, my name is Alessandro and I was born in tiny village on Lake Como, a really beautiful natural lake in northern Italy surrounded by rivers and the Alps. ⛰️🚠🌞
I’m a full time traveller, a part time photographer and a permanent dreamer! I really love food and everything related to food, I love to cook and create new recipes.
I've been travelling for almost 11 years around the world and soon I will start traveling Japan, hitchhiking and walking on many ancient trails to explore that beautiful country as locally as possible.
I’m very easy going and I adapt to many situations, I’m traveling with a tent, a sleeping bag and an inflatable mattress and I don’t mind if I have to sleep on the floor or set up the tent in the garden. 😃
I am a chill person, I don’t drink alcohol therefore I don’t really enjoy parties with too many people, noise and too much alcohol. I am also very understanding with the people that enjoy party scenes and sometimes I still like to go out, especially if there is live music or traditional events. I really enjoy outdoor activities, I love nature, hikes, camping and rock climbing and I really like when other couchsurfers share those passion too and we can organize some adventures exploring nature together 🧗🥾🏔️
I think Couchsurfing offers one of the best way of traveling and getting to know other cultures and make new friends from all over the world. I’m infinite grate to all the people that open the door of their houses and share a part of their life with me. This means a lot to me, I think it’s all based on trust and we need more trust in this world to see there is still lots of good heart people all around us!
It’s not about a free place where to sleep, it’s about a deep connection with the place you’re traveling to and with the people that live and preserve that place. It’s about cultural exchange, teach what we can and learn as much as possible from others. 🙏
I like to define myself as a traveller because unlike common tourists, what kept me rolling around the world until now are not the hundreds of beautiful places I’ve seen, but the amazing people I met. I love to meet people, share experiences, emotions and unforgettable moments with them. I really think every human being has always something to teach and something to learn from someone else, no matters who they are!
Will I be so lucky to meet you? 😃

Interests
I really enjoy live music (especially reggae, jazz and Latin music) and deep interesting conversations.
I love nature, camping and hiking are my favorite things to do and I would love to share those experiences with my host and surfers. I love to hear recommendations from locals on places in nature where to go.
I really love to cook and one of the purposes of my traveling is to learn as many recipes as possible from around the world! I have been vegetarian for the last 6 years but I am very open minded and I don’t mind people eating meat around me, I hope that if everybody would respect and understand other people’s choices this world could be better and more in harmony

- Spent almost 4 years hitchhiking from the United States to South America, traveling more than 14000kms on more than 300 different rides!
- I bought a motorbike in the south of Vietnam and I drove more than 3000km from Saigon To Hanoi! I can’t even describe the amazing landscape I’ve seen on the way 😃
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share stories, experiences, my culture and I'm willing to teach you how to cook some amazing Italian food. Who doesn't like pasta? 😁
Also I really love animals and if you have a dog or any other animal I would love to help you take care of it, by playing with it, walking it or feeding it 🐶
