Hello Friends,

My name is Alessandro and I am 27 years old. In desperate need of a new hobby, I decided this year to pick up backpacking. While I have always been an avid traveler, in my past I always stuck to more conventional methods.

For weeks now, I have been hiking across North Carolina seeing all it has to offer. My travels have taken me from the heights of Grandfather Mountain to the depths of Lake Wylie. I am now circling back to Charlotte and planning to spend some time in the city.

During this time I've had the opportunity to meet many interesting people and try the local cuisine. I cannot wait to meet you and tell you more about my adventures as these few words simply will not do them justice.

I am having a hard time thinking about movies. My favorite genres are dramas, thrillers and comedies.

My favorite books of all time are Harry Potter, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Crime and Punishment, The Art of War, and Black Privilege.
