ABOUT ME

I have a diverse family background. Father (Peruvian), Mother (Italian). I have travelled extensively throughout the world (over 30 countries) and throughout the USA as well (42 states). I have lived in Colorado the past 5 years, living in a small ski resort and then studying Finance and International business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I speak spanish, understand Italian, very little french and german.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never couchsurfed before but I have always been intrigued by the opportunity to stay with local residence and seeing the non-tourist side of places. Making friends, and meeting new people who I would never have had the opportunity to meet seems like the best way to travel. I have several friends who have couchsurfed and they have only had positive things to say about their experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Colorado, my roommate was a member of the couchsurfing community and we hosted a couple for about 2-3 weeks, and then two other couchsurfering friends from upstate NY for a similar amount of time. It was a great experience to spend time with complete strangers who have now become good friends of ours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. I have skydived and have dived with great whites in Cape Town, South Africa.
Bungee Jumped the Golden Eye Jump in Switzerland. I have hiked the Inca Trail. Near circumnavigated the globe by boat. Visited over 30 countries on 6 continents. Visited 6 of the 7 wonders of the world.
