ABOUT ME

I'm quiet and private. I like things to be tidy and in order. I don't believe in any gods, and I don't respect religious habits and attitudes. I can disregard them as long as they are not forced upon me.

I like reading. Loads. I'm going through the list of the 100 books you should read in your lifetime. I'm just about the middle of that, but got sidetracked by Murakami. Murakami is a fun japanese.

I like to paint. Most of the things hanging in my house I painted them. Copies mostly, but after all, it's important to be able to copy, so you can better ideas. I'm still in the phase of "being able to copy" though...

My house is 100% Ikea. I put it together one piece after the other. I like the result.

I like cooking. Italian and some international, but mainly italian (seriously, there's nothing out there we can't cook better OHOHOH). My best dish is Carbonara.

My Carbonara rocks. I can home-make pasta, I got a pasta machine and I can make any sauces and stocks. I can make meat and fish recipes, and quite a few desserts.

Yeah, I'm a man to marry. Done that already, didn't quite work out as expected (my wife likes McDonald's more than my pasta - this should tell you what kind of moron I married). Not gonna do it anytime soon again.

I like my job and the way it creates connections amongst people all over the world. I am a Cisco Certified Network Engineer. If you have no clues on what that might be, that is a conversation starter that will keep us busy for some time (usually takes 3 hours to go through the whole story).

Used to play piano. There's a crysis now, so I had to sell my pianos. I'm putting away money so I can buy back a nice digital instrument. For now, I've got only memories - no regrets.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we are a bunch of stardust-made folks running around like headless chickens on a rock that floats around a gigant ball of fire. The whole system of balls of fires and rocks floats around a massive black hole. In less than 5 billion years either our star will die or our entier galaxy will be swallowed by the Andromeda galaxy.

Very likely our race will be extinct by then because of our own choices.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, I got some friends that host, so I decide I could do it too. If it gets interesting I might ask for a host-back or something of the kind. Depends on money, for now I'm tight on those and have different priorities rather than traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seriously, I'd prefer to be able to do normal things... Of amazing things that no one would dare doing I got enough already.

I'm not showing off, I'm complaining. Really complaining.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not really good at teaching, but I'm good at showing. I need to learn about routing, switching and CISCO Nexus configurations + cooking and anything that I might find interesting.
