ABOUT ME

I'm an italian guy and i live in a town near Lecce ( a beautiful capital of the baroque, it is called "Florence of the southern Italy", with a great sea)
Here the ospitality is one of our characteristic.
I'm open mind, friendly and i like to know different cultures
UPDATE 2025
Now i am already here from more than 10 years. i can say CS changed my life. I hosted (and was hosted by) lot of people and I met wonderful people.
This is for sure a beautiful community, It helped me to see the world and to appreciate more my place, so as host I like to help traveller, i have a debt with CS.
Feel free to ask me any advices about my place, if you need accomodation send me a request (obliviosly in the spirit of CS, i don t like to host people as in b&b) i do not ask secret key in the request and I am not so egocentrico to ask personal request, I will understand if It will be a copy and paste (but anyway Is good to read the profile). If it will be possible I'll be happy to help you.
If I have time, I'll be available to show you the seaside close my home or more in general my area, and to talk about local traditions, food and everything.
I am also happy to talk about trips and your country, i like to talk about mine and to listen yours trips, maybe in front of a glass of local wine.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is like knowledge the more you see the more you know you haven't seen.

I am atheist and antifascist. In my house any religion and any culture are welcome, no one is better than other, and I appreciate comparison and discussion, if based on respect.

I am so curious about other cultures, so I will be happy to know more about your country, your music, your books, your traditions, your language, your food.
I like photography, journalism and social activities.
In general I am interested to any concrete small thing can make a better world.

Movies: I prefer to talk about directors, i like Aronofsky, Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Leone, Bergman, Lynch etc....

Music: favourite music is hard rock/ heavy metal but i like all the GOOD music.

Books: Orwell, Saramago, Hosseini, Palahniuk, King

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding on Caucaso's montains.
Sleeping in a hippie van.
Doing an hitchhiking trip.
Have a lunch in Chernobyl.
Be bitten by a horse.
Get lost in the middle of nothing in the montains.
Join a wedding where I didn't know anyone.
Swimming naked in a lake after a sauna
and many other things i can not write

Teach, Learn, Share

I know you think every italian Is a chef, but It s not like this, I can cook something but do not have high expectations, anyway It will nice cook together.
I can teach some words in local dialect and any italian bad word you still don't know :-D
I can teach also some basic things about photography.
