ABOUT ME

I live in Thailand since 2009, before I was living 5 years in China. I love Asia for its different approach to life, for its culture and so many different people. I'm curious about people, I like to investigate the human nature in all its aspects. I learn from observation, I speak by experience, I feel with heart and mind. I'm a social person, I like going out at night, have fun enjoying good music, eating well and drinking socially. I respect anybody as far as others respect myself, it's the basic attitude of a peaceful living together, in a house or in the world. Criticisms are always welcome anyway, without it our personal growth wouldn't be possible. But up to a certain limit, because we are also builders (N. Mandela). Sharing is indeed a great way to give and receive life experience, so I'm always happy to share my lifestyle.
I don't like drugs too much; those into heroin, cocaine, mushrooms and pills are not welcome to my home. Weed and hash is tolerated outdoor, but I don't smoke it anymore now. I'm a social drinker, a few beers or glass of wine make up the mood high, but I seldom exceed. Well, sometimes it happen to anyone :) I often meet up with many friends for home dinners and barbecue, but I also like to stay on my own or having more private hang out. I'm a culture lover, I like history, art, local cultures and habits when I travel, as well as for the country I live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My private situation has changed over the past 3 years, I live with my girlfriend and 2 children now, so not much space for couch surfers. But I would appreciate to be a guest when I'm travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think it's a great way to give the opportunity to people to travel cheap and meet new friends at the same time.

Interests

I'm a lazy type for physical activity, but luckily I still keep a decent shape and health condition. I like badminton, tennis, squash and volleyball as sports, but hard to practice here in Phuket. I don't swim very well, I'm a bit afraid of water, which is strange for a person who lives on a tropical island; I'm taking lessons. I play guitar socially, not really a musician, just jamming sometimes. I like dancing almost any kind of music, lately I'm taking salsa lessons too.
