I've never had any experience of this kind. Usually I host my friends who live far away for a few days. To me it just happened to be hosted once and it was a wonderful experience. I have seen at first hand the cultural differences

Books - Anything about culture or human behavior, the evolution of the mind, decision-making science. I really like human psychology and books of classical authors
