Hello there!

I’m Alessio, a student from Politecnico di Milano where I’m currently studying BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (sounds so fancy, doesn’t it?) and the place in which I spend more hours than I do in my actual house, I drink more coffee than any human being could ever tolerate and when I’m probably going to spend the next 2… or 3, or 4, or… oh dear God help me… years before I graduate.

As I said, university takes up a lot of my time (sometimes waaay too much) but that doesn’t discourage me from pursuing other things that I love, like hiking and photography. I also play the piano and guitar to let some stress go away and, recently, I started playing the ukulele, which might keep me company during one of my trips!

Since 2017 I've been an active member in BEST (Board of European Student of Technology), an organization within the university environment that gave me the possibility to grow professionally and develop those much-needed soft skills. However, other than that, it's above all a big family of students all across Europe where students support each other, cooperate and love to travel. As I won't be a student my whole like (hopefully), Couchsurfing is the perfect platform to find more friends that share these values.
