First of all, nice to virtually meet you! I’m Alessio, from northern Italy. Some months ago I quitted my job in an environmental organization to work on my”self”. I decided to travel to Asia to learn more about the culture in general and Buddhism specifically. So here I am!! I was volunteering in China for couple of months (working in a farm and leading workcamps) and now I’ll travel around Taiwan for some days before I come back to Hong Kong to stay in a monastery for quite long time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main motivation to travel around Asia is to get to know the culture and learn from it. Is there a better way to get in touch with locals than couchsurfing? I hope we can exchange some nice talks and learn about your habits and traditions.
