Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It has very nice and interesting advantages regarding meeting locals, getting to know a real country and culture, have a 'home' to sleep and finding out the best spots in a town/city, helping travelers to travel more, and so on. However, I think it is mostly about learning. Discover the world, including the citizens, the thoughts, perspectives, behaviors, etc. And of course it's just fun!

Besides, I studied intercultural management, so I am interested in anything that has to deal with cultures and how it manifests in any kind of activity, belief, language, food, habits, identity, adaptation, etc. I am curious, enjoy philosophy and always dig deeper.

Latin music or electronic dance. I love going to latin dance nights or electronic dance festivals.
I don't like watching movies a lot because I prefer active things, usually people kind of get in shock when they realize how little I know about movies.
I like reading things about research, real life things. Something I learn from. Interesting facts or philosophy..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer University + travel in Thailand
Living in Lisbon for 10 months
Traveling without plans for 5 months and discovering Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador. Spending time with lovely families, integrating into the cultures..
Living for 6 months in Mexico
Climb an active volcano in Guatemala and see sunset and sunrise from there

I believe every single person teaches you something new that will somehow make you grow, rethink, evaluate.. Every person knows a lot you do not know yet an which you might need to live your life better in one way or the other, whether it is a small change or big, unconscious or conscious.
