Collecting stories, finding my own
I used to be a filmmaker making documentaries and educational films in Johannesburg, and now I lecture in television at the Journalism School at Rhodes university. I love exploring new worlds and listening to people's life stories.
I believe in storytelling. I love the quirkiness of life - the bizarre in the mundane. I love traveling because it helps shift your perspective and makes you question your own life and what you take as normal. I believe in social justice and the humanity of every person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to this - but I've travelled a lot.
I love books, art and mountain biking.

I would like to learn Spanish.
