Woo such a hard question
I prefer indie and shoegaze/ elecronic music, african and gypsy although I would always appreciate rock music especially alternative. Really it all depends on my current mood.
As for movies recently I'm really into the ones that are based on true events, like 127 hours, The Deep, Fargo, Everest, Into the wild etc. However I also like crime ones like The shawshank redemption, City of God, Leon the professional, We need to talk about Kevin. I love indie movies as well like Unmade beds, Noone knows about the persian cats, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Requiem for a dream, Donnie Darko, Buffalo 66
As far as books are concerned , I love Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sartre, Camus, Ian McEwan, Sebastian Faulks, Nietze, Dostoyevski etc
