I am a graduate student from the United States. I recently graduated from college in the US with a degree in the humanities and Chinese. Over the summer since graduation, I have been spending some time studying in Germany. I was living in Dresden for the last two months while doing a language program at the Goethe-Institut there to improve my German.

Now that my language program is over, I will be traveling around Europe some more before heading back to the US. There are so many wonderful places here that I really want to visit and I would love to find some new friends who I could stay with and who could show me around their cities. Flights between the US and Europe are fairly long and expensive, so I definitely want to make the most of my time here in Europe before I have to head back.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was a junior in college, I lived and studied abroad in Beijing, China for six months while I was there taking courses to improve my Chinese. Before that, I also lived in Taipei, Taiwan for two months over the summer in order to study Chinese as well. I had a really incredible experience in both of those countries. I had a wonderful time being immersed in a totally different culture and society and I was able to make huge strides in terms of my proficiency in Chinese.
