I am an introvert, open-minded, and creative person :) I like conversations which go beyond smalltalk. I like learning new things, I try to travel whenever I can, I am interested in languages and I am passionate about my work as a music teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used Couchsurfing in many different ways over time. It has always been an enriching experience and I have met many wonderful people ever since.

I discovered CS when backpacking with my sister in 2017. I love to meet locals from the places I travel to - to share experiences and learn from each other. I believe that it makes traveling way more valuable and interesting.

I have hosted Couchsurfers at my home in Germany and now I am living and hosting in Barcelona.

Apart from that, for some time Couchsurfing has been a perfect opportunity for me to find a place to stay while having to travel for studies and masterclasses, when I couldn't afford otherwise. I am so thankful to the people who took me in and In that sense, I understand any Couchsurfer who is using it to save some money.

Interests

I am lucky enough to say that my work consists of doing what I am genuinely passionate about: teaching and making music.
I love creative things, art, photography, learning new (sometimes random) skills and languages, discovering new places, cooking, drinking tea and spending time in nice cafés. I sing and sometimes, I dance a little bit, or at least I try to learn.

Music: I do classical music, but I can listen to almost anything // Books: Kafka, Hesse, Orwell // Movies: Blueprint, The brand new Testament, Imitation Game, Animation movies, recently got into watching short films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did my first solo backpacking trip to Southeast Asia in 2023, which was such a great experience that I have been traveling solo since.
Did the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam, which implied overcoming a lot of fears.
Did one of the short camino de Santiago routes, and hope to do more of it at some point.
Froze a lot seeing the northern lights in Iceland 4 nights straight.
Moved to Barcelona alone in 2022 which changed my life.
