Hi I'm Alex. I am British and have abandoned the motherland for pastures new.

Canada was the chosen, Montreal to be precise. My French is in work but is quite passable at the Tim Hortons.

For now it is Japan. I have a big spare room and centrally located to all the fun in downtown Nagoya.

I spend a lot of time working hard and any spare moments are divided somewhat equally between friends, running and cycling (substituted by thinking about it in winter.)

A little bit shy, couch surfing gives me no choice but to meet and interact with other people. I am happy to be completely self sufficient or join in and go with the flow.

兴趣

I enjoy quiet and witty conversation with interesting people. Humility is important.

Downhill skiing is fun, I have gravitational advantage there.

As an engineer I enjoy 'things.' I am usually able to put objects back together with no left over parts.*

* No guarantee, although any bits left over are probably not critical anyway, hence they did not get put back.
