Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting local people, and learn how to avoid the touristic places as they tend to be much more expensive and may not translate what the country and citizens are going through!

With couch surfing you can experience in its fullest what the citizens are saying about it,rather what you read on the internet or what other people tell you about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up the Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka 660 ft flatout straight up with uneaven, slippery steps which are being hold up only in one side of the rock... Basically hitting my fear of heights. Not to mention hornets who live there and are aggressive with noise!

I stayed up there to see the sun set, which I can surely say with the few years I've been alive that is one of the best views of my life as you are able to see from up there miles in every direction barely touched by humans...

The way down was scary as the mountain provides no light what so ever! If it weren't for the dogs who live in the mountain and my friend Joao I would probably be stuck up there for a while! These are the days worth living!

Teach, Learn, Share

Been to quite a few countries to share my experience with, learning Spanish and Mandarin, can teach Portuguese and it's fantastic cuisine and country! Pretty much an everyday unofficial embassador for the country!
