Avid traveler but new to Couchsurfing. I've been living in the Bay Area in California for six years. I am picking up part-time jobs consulting for tech startups, which is allowing me to live out my dream of working remotely from anywhere in the world!

I love world music and want to learn how to DJ. I am most happy when on a beach, preferably with a beer in hand. When in a new city, the first things I look for are live music and delicious, cheap food.

I am half Latina and grew up speaking Spanish and English. I hope to perfect my Spanish over the next year, so if you speak Spanish as well, hablemos!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have thus far stayed in hostels when traveling. They are tons of fun but I find myself yearning for more of a connection to the local community. I want to explore a city from a local's perspective, so please pass along your recommendations.
