Good morning couch surfing community! My name is Alex, I'm headed to New Zealand in November 2018 for a year of work and travel.

I grew up and studied in Colorado, USA, and currently am in the life-altering process of breaking away from my hometown. I just spent 3 months exploring the western United States, where (in addition to a few memorable couch surfing experiences), I experienced first hand the beautiful exchange that can happen during travel. I look forward to continuing to share, learn, and explore with new humans!

People have always called me a positive, open minded, and personable person. I'm always game for an outdoor adventure and I cultivate my mind-body connection through yoga/meditation. I've come to NZ to learn new skills (specifically carpentry and farming) and seek artistic inspiration!
