I'm a recent master's graduate from Chicago taking some time to travel before finding a full-time job. Fitness and food are my two conflicting passions in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm lucky to have grown up in an adventurous family that has taken many trips together. Almost all my traveling has been done with them, so I'm still new to traveling on my own. Wherever I visit I want to experience fully like a local, and explore more than the most frequented places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge bookworm! Harry Potter, The Shadow of the Wind, and The Goldfinch are my favorite fiction books, but I mainly read a ton of non-fiction nowadays. Some of my favorites are A Short History of Nearly Everything, The God Delusion, and On Love.

Comedies are my jam, for both TV and movies. But I prefer TV shows - Seinfeld, Veep, Broad City, 30 Rock, The Office, Shameless, Game of Thrones, Insecure.

Electronic music is my favorite! I jump and fist pump because I can't dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia was incredible. So many jellyfish and fish and coral right there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied Spanish for many years but am always looking for ways to practice so I don't lose it. Understanding other people is much easier than speaking myself, and I know my accent is awful!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook some mean eggs, and show you my workout routines! I know a lot about food and do a lot of research about the best places to eat in the cities I live and visit, especially Chicago. I have a fairly extensive restaurant spreadsheet I'm always happy to share. I can also teach you to juggle.
