我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just started couchsurfing as a means to make my traveling experiences a little more authentic, meeting and staying with a local is always a great experience, I did that before and it turned out that you can get to know so much more about a place this way.

Can't wait for my new apartment to be ready and start hosting as well (hopefully by the end of 2018)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My entire life basically, but to give a few examples:
- Turned 18, learned that Montenegro just became the newest country in the world so I just hitchhiked all the way there with a little more than 100 euros in my pocket.
- Went to Nepal in 2016 and raised enough money to rebuild 7 schools badly damaged by the big earthquake in 2015. Raised the money by organizing fundraisers with friends from all over the world.
- In September 2018 I am going to plant trees on a piece of natural rezervation in Sri Lanka that was landmined during the civil war, with the friends I worked in Nepal.

I am a Geography genius (not to brag, but at the age of 5 I learned all the countries and their capitals after my mom bought me an atlas) so I can teach you stuff about all the countries in the world.
If you count recording your route on the world map as drawing on it, then I am also a bit of an artist :)

I have been told I am a funny person.
Not much of a cook, but if I have access to the internet I can make pretty much anything (from an omelette to a Mars rover)
