Overview
About Me
I'm 22, lived in England my whole life, just finished university this past June/July.
I studied Law, am currently working in a kinda low level job near home in the countryside, but hoping to move back to London in September if applications go well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Only just stopped being a student, so not really full of cash to travel.
I'm learning Italian at the moment, partly because my great grandad was Italian and I'd love to speak the language, so trying to visit Italy a bit by myself. I figure couchsurfing both means I can save some money and hopefully meet some actual Italians too (as opposed to staying in an English speaking hostel full of other tourists).
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: eclectic. Todd Terje, Mura Masa, Mord Fustang, JONES, Mac Miller, RAYE, Ray Blk, Tove Styrke, Shura, Gold Panda, Floating Points, Loyle Carner, Kaleida, Nao, Icona Pop, etc etc etc.
Films: Star Wars, John Wick, Green Room, etc?
Books: actually too many? Just read The Book Thief and then Doors of Perception (Aldous Huxley), about to start one by Sergei Brin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure I've had too many life-changing experiences that didn't involve music. First Bestival was pretty key (Chemical Brothers), Parklife was big (Dusky), and Sunfall was unreal (Jamie XX).
If this question meant doing something amazing as in nice, rather than cool, then I helped two disabled women fuck the government and get their Disability Allowance they deserved back earlier this year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I guess I could tell you a fair bit about AI or tech in general? I can cook a few decent chicken dishes? I'm an avid cyclist?
Not really sure what people usually put here...
