I'm a lover of travel, amongst other things. I have a million excuses why I "can't" travel, so I don't get to do it as much as I'd like. That said, I've been to a lot of places in my life and couldn't feel more blessed for the opportunities I've had and the rad people I've met along the way.

I live full-time in Santa Barbara, California. Currently the loves of my life are my 14yr old sister, my rescue-bird named Chawlie, and matcha lattes. Last week they were my 14yr old sister, green tea, and reruns of Arrested Development.

I like to have fun, I love a good adventure, I believe pleasure is made up of spontaneity, and there's nothing better than PEOPLE... unless you're a dog. Dogs are better than people. Sorry.

All in all, I'm rambunctious when it's needed, and mellow when it feels good. Seriously, sunshine or snow, a good book, something to write with, and the occasional sneak on to Reddit, and I'm a solid, happy individual.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

...because hotels are expensive & lonely when you're traveling by yourself. I'd rather meet the real locals & find the "secret" spots for true fulfillment.

Music: Not going to lie, I love Country music. I also love me some reggae, and anything that soothes the soul: Brett Dennen, Sam Smith, Damien Rice, etc. I also just found my ipod from 2004... that basically means ANYTHING goes.
