I am a budding traveler looking to have fun experiences abroad. I've very easy-going and willing to try new things.

My good friend and I will be staying in Kyoto, Japan, from 1/8/2015 to 17/8/2015, and we hope to maybe meet up with some people who know their way around Kyoto, Tokyo, or the nearby areas. : )

As beautiful as they are, I don't want to just visit the tourist sites in Japan. I want to experience the culture and get to know people. If I head home having made a few friends, then I will be very happy.

Algo increíble que he hecho

My first trip to Japan with classmates was certainly an amazing experience, having stayed with a host family and spent time at a high-school in Haguro, Yamagata prefecture. Tokyo was mindbogglingly huge, especially since I've grown up in a fairly small city in the U.S. The rural towns, fields, and mountains of Yamagata prefecture were absolutely beautiful, as well.

The only thing rivaling the awe that Japan gave me was seeing the majesty of the Grand Canyon with my own eyes. It's another place I hope to explore more thoroughly.
